Audio Engineer (Contract)
We are looking for an Audio Engineer (Contract) to work with our fast-moving team comprised of visual designers, product engineers, and content creators. The right candidate will be technically adept, an excellent communicator and collaborator, and someone who is passionate about creating leading VR experiences. What you’ll do:
As the Audio Engineer, you will be responsible for recording and processing all audio content for a new, unannounced VR project. This role works with the Post Production Supervisor.
- Record consistent, high quality live audio on set
- Process and deliver audio to exacting quality standards on a daily basis
- Collaborate with Post Production Supervisor to constantly increase the efficiency and quality of our audio pipeline
What you’ll need to be successful:
- 5+ years of audio engineering experience
- Experience recording live audio on a film set
- Proficient with both macOS & Windows 10
- Extensive experience mastering audio in ProTools and iZotope
- An ear for quality vocal recordings
- Ability to deliver high quality recordings on a quick timeline
- Experience thriving in a startup environment
Bonus points for:
- Ambisonic recording experience
- Unity, Unreal & other game development experience
- Shot Tracking software experience (Frame.io, Shotgun, etc.)
- SFX creation
- VR/AR experience
