Content Specialist

Operations

• Maintain the Content Schedule including event lineup, launch dates, series/interactive series, branded events, themed dailies and Fashion Feeds
• Maintain the Content Messaging doc
• Maintain the content calendar to include world holidays, celebrity birthdays, notable TV and film events, movie premieres, fashion-related events, music and movie festivals
• Assist in the creation of all Style Challenge concepts including image sourcing from stock photo websites, Style Challenge title and copy, and avatar selection for each Challenge
• Assist in the research of written subjects and fact checking

Writing and Editing

• Coordinate with marketing, PMs, brands, and producers for any in-game text needed for product features, tutorials, social media, and in-person events
• Coordinate with brands for any featured Style Challenges
• Assist in the writing and editing of Style Challenge copies
• QA and proofread all in-game copies
• Assist in the creation and execution of storylines for interactive series and story-based Challenge
• Assist in writing any Fashion Feed, inbox message, popup, and news module text for the content team
• Assist in writing all messaging for interactive series and seasonal launches

Strategy

• Carry out established daily content strategy via event lineup and restrictions
• Ensure optimal alignment of garment inventory and event lineup
• Facilitate event and campaign brainstorming
• Assist in the ideation of new events, series and campaigns
• Identify and execute on daily merchandising opportunities

Requirements

• BA/BS degree
• 3+ years experience in both creative writing and editorial writing
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Office and Google suites
• Ability to adapt and grow Covet’s voice and style
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
• Familiarity with the fashion, lifestyle, and/or mobile gaming industry strongly desired
• Strong interest in consumer/player motivations and behaviors as well as game/app design concepts
• Have keen interest in Covet Fashion, if not already a regular player
