We seek an expert and meticulous Ecommerce/Amazon Content Specialist to join our Global Ecommerce team. This role will develop and optimize content for our Ecommerce accounts, ensuring a detailed and engaging shopping experience for our fans. The primary focus will be to create compelling product descriptions, lead the selection of product imagery and videos, and improve the overall content strategy to drive sales and improve conversion rates. What You'll Do:
- Product Descriptions: Write persuasive and accurate product descriptions highlighting features, benefits, and unique selling points to engage customers and drive conversions.
- Content Uploads and Optimization: Upload Amazon NIS (new product set-up) forms with content to optimize product content for search engines and the Amazon platform by incorporating relevant keywords, meta tags, and product attributes to improve organic search visibility and ranking.
- Imagery and Video Management: Collaborate with the WOTC Studios to ensure high-quality product images and videos are created, edited, and uploaded accurately to showcase products effectively.
- Content Strategy: Develop and implement a content strategy that aligns with business goals, target audience, and industry trends to increase sales and enhance the customer experience.
- Content Curation: Select and curate user-generated content, such as customer reviews, testimonials, and product photos, to enhance credibility and social proof on product pages.
- Product Taxonomy: Organize and maintain product categorization and taxonomy to ensure consistency and ease of navigation for customers.
- A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests on product content elements to identify and implement improvements that positively impact conversion rates and user experience.
- Content Performance Analysis: Be an authority on content performance metrics, such as click-through rates, conversion rates, and average order value, to identify trends and optimize content strategy accordingly.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including the studio marketing team, Key Account Managers, and Hasbro SEO teams, to gather product information, coordinate promotions, and ensure consistency across all customer touchpoints.
- Build and lead Amazon’s Brand Store. Proficient in telling a story about the product detail pages and store analytics
What You'll Bring:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience as an Ecommerce Content Specialist, Copywriter, or similar role, working with Amazon and other Ecommerce accounts.
- Know all about Ecommerce platforms and content management systems (CMS).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an expert desire for detail and grammar.
- Proficient in SEO standard methodologies for e-commerce, including keyword research and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with product information management (PIM) systems and data entry processes.
- Experience with content analytics tools to track and analyze performance metrics.
- Knowledge of e-commerce UX and user behavior analysis.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
