Role: Content Operations Assistant
Contract type: 12-month FTC
Role overview:
The Content Operations team supports the release of global content to PlayStation®Store, collaborating with multiple teams to release products on time and to a high quality. As an Associate Content Operator, you will work on product set-ups and complete quality checks daily, investigate Store incidents, and work with the team on improvement projects. This will involve collaborating with other teams and departments internally, prioritising tasks to stay ahead of any obstacles, and being mindful of time differences across our global teams when sending queries. Ideal candidates will have some understanding of project management tools for tracking and scheduling and will be confident learners ready to pick up our content management and delivery systems.
What you’ll be doing:
- Set up and quality check content (e.g. full games, DLC, demos) for distribution on PlayStation®Store using our web-based content management systems.
- Coordinate with various internal groups (e.g. QA & Incidents, Service Operations, Digital Supply Chain, Content Lifecycle Management and 3 rd Party Publisher Relations) to accurately deploy content on time.
- Follow and enforce process rules and deadlines for content, ensuring a smooth release.
- Process ad-hoc Store content related requests in a timely manner, balancing them with your core work.
- Work closely with the Content Operations team and Engineers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Help investigate and resolve Store incidents, collaborating with Content Managers, Engineers, and Customer Services as needed.
- Assist in testing new features or set-ups in the content management systems and provide feedback.
- Support creation and improvement of operational processes.
What we’re looking for:
- Excellent organisational skills and able to manage multiple deadlines.
- Strong communication skills and an enthusiastic team worker.
- Experience working with content management tools and systems.
- A consumer-level understanding of the PlayStation®Store and PlayStation® games.
- Experience with media or ecommerce websites.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred Experience / Education:
- 1+ years of experience in a content/project management role.
- A good understanding of industry trends, practices, and genres.
- Experience working in a cross-cultural, multi-national organisation.
- An interest in games, and a passion for delivering high quality content to consumers.
