The content manager is the initiator, planner and sole owner of the Redecor monthly season – which is the game content concept for 30 days, and the basis of the game.
(Ex: The Hamptons Family/ Rejoice/ Eco Scandi/ African Adventure/ Simplicity Masterclass – a season is the guideline and basis for the game for an entire month- what’s the design style and the story.
The content manager plans from top to bottom, and then bottom up, and then sideways – the name of the season, the style, each theme day and what will be in it, the rooms, challenges, mini experiences around it – all aimed at engagement, DAU, retention for the game.
This person is part on the content & CRM team, within the content & CRM department in Redecor; meaning they will not execute emails or social content, or the art itself, or the design materials in the game, but they are the ones who lead the concept and approve it through execution, when the main purpose is for players to enjoy our game for long periods of time, value our content and help us create a prosperous business and eventually obtain better retention.
Responsibilities
- Plan creative and engaging seasons from concept to theme days and lead all other department members to continue and carry out your vision – art, rooms in the game etc.
- Think about special hooks to sell the content (like the season pass purchases, special items and so on), and any new content initiative to enrich our domains – like, blogs, collaborations, charity activities etc.
- Execute your activities A-Z
- Work with monetization to also ensure that we create a unified plan, and that the content we provide them is sellable.
- Work with marketing to sync them on the game content, to create relevant marketing content for installs and reactivation, Create decks for stores and store events, to get us featured through the content in the Appstore.
- Other than the season itself, maintain the calendar re overall communication strategy - product releases, player experience communications,
- Analyze your activities (data driven person), run player surveys and provide insights and constantly optimize based on data.
- KPIS: player satisfaction from seasons, SP engagement, website KPIs; engagement and behavior, operation.

- Sense of style, understanding of female audience (Pinterest vibe) with an affinity to interior design
- Must work well with others, and actually make them follow you. A leader, even though you do not manage the people who need to follow your lead. Lead cross department projects, collaborative yet knows to stand their ground and insist on the business needs as main target
- Detail oriented, high attention to details
- English – fluent
- Creative skills like photoshop, Canva – advantage.
