ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a content manager with experience writing for the mobile ad tech or mobile games industries.. This is an incredible opportunity to join our marketing team and partner with an innovative and fun company that is a leader in the marketing software space. This position offers great potential for growth, so we are looking for a strategic marketer with a desire to manage content and assist with content creation across a variety of marketing campaigns.
You will support our content program by assisting the director of content and campaigns in creating our content plan to raise brand awareness through various marketing channels. By partnering with key stakeholders, you will develop content for our corporate blog, draft contributed articles, write website copy, and draft copy for our marketing campaigns and other key platforms.
Our ideal candidate is a strong content marketer who can perform well under deadlines, adapt and shift as needed, be open to accepting feedback, edits and collaboration, turn out well-researched and detail-oriented content, be able to connect the dots across multiple content initiatives, and who can achieve expert-level knowledge of our industry. Ultimately, you should be able to assist in crafting and executing on a content strategy that aligns with the company’s goals and brand positioning.

Candidates residing/will reside in the following states are eligible for this role: California, Nevada, Oregon, Texas, Colorado, Ohio, North Carolina, Florida, Pennsylvania, and Washington.
Responsibilities
- Write and edit both long and short-form content, including (but not limited to) blog posts, bylines, case studies, event emails, short videos, and more.
- Support marketing campaigns, including (but not limited to) launches, event invitations, website copy, and digital ad campaigns.
- Ideate concepts, storylines, topics, etc. for our blog and earned and paid media (like longer form industry bylines).
- Optimize content for SEO.
- Develop and maintain our style guide.
- Build/manage content resources and guest bloggers.
- Stay current on trends within our industry that can help inform the development of meaningful content.
- Work with the Content Director to build and contribute to the editorial calendar.
- Contribute to a team of content leaders committed to developing and publishing content that engages, informs, and inspires our audiences.
Requirements
- 7+ years of proven content marketing experience with a strong focus on content creation.
- Understanding of mobile ad tech industry and/or mobile gaming industry.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
- Exceptional copywriting experience (writing samples required, portfolios highly encouraged).
- Tenacious self-starter with a high level of initiative and strong follow-through.
- (Preferred) Proficiency with Google Docs, Asana, Wordpress and HubSpot.
- Knowledge of SEO and understanding of Google Analytics.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and leadership qualities, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and set priorities across teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, or marketing preferred.
