Content Author – Temporary Full Time 12 Month Contract

#WeAreEA and we exist to inspire the world to play. EA values creativity, pioneering, passion, determination, learning, and teamwork. We mean things like acting with curiosity, speaking up with original ideas, and committing to each other as one team.

We’re looking for all the best kinds of people to make great experiences for our players. The best people want a job that inspires them, while giving them room to enjoy their lives. And we want to give them that. We celebrate diversity and inclusion by creating a place where you can come to work and be yourself.

You’re a Content Author. You write words about anything and everything. You regularly quote style guides and are always on the hunt for clever business writing to inspire you. You also advocate for the reader, in our case players and advisors, and work tirelessly to make sure they’ll understand and use what you write.

You’re also a genuinely nice person who brings positive energy to an office. You’re approachable and take the time to listen so that you understand someone else’s view.

This role is part of EA’s Customer Experience organization. The Customer Experience organization strives to make EA known for taking care of its players. We’re players taking care of players and people talking to people – whenever, wherever, and however they need us.

We’re the Content team, part of the larger Communications and Employee Experience team. We love writing helpful messages that lead people to a solution. We are good at translating tricky, technical stuff into easier language that anyone can understand – from age 6 to 60. We know grammar and why it’s important and also when to pick our battles over an Oxford comma (we are always in favor of them, but we’re still friends with people who aren’t).

We’re here to help people (players AND employees) have great experiences with EA. We’re players talking to players and people talking to people. Everything we say and do for employees impacts players. And everyone must advocate and uphold culture – even when it’s hard, even when it’s unseen, and even when it doesn’t feel important.
