Senior Manager, Consumer Insights

We are Mythical Games. A Venture-backed next-generation game technology company at the intersection of video games and blockchain technologies led by industry veterans. Our goal is to lead the industry by supporting the launch of exceptional video game experiences that leverage distributed ledger technology via our platform of robust tools, technology, and data for game developers.
We are currently looking for a Consumer Insights Manager to drive research that supports in-development & pipeline titles.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product, marketing, design, and other key stakeholders to identify research topics and critical research questions, create detailed study plans and research roadmap; communicate and refresh on a regular basis to ensure impact and relevance
- Partner with external research vendors on research projects
- Balance multiple studies across multiple projects simultaneously
- Act as research coordinator & voice of the player across multiple cross-functional teams
- Conduct concept studies to understand the overall potential of a project
- Communicate research findings through persuasive, compelling written reports, and group presentations
- Build trust with partners by delivering the right actionable insights at the right time
Requirements:
- An understanding of different qualitative & quantitative research methods including rapid iterative testing, 1:1 interview, concept testing, diary studies, remote studies, etc.
- Experience acting as research lead for a project – including the building of research roadmaps informed by product needs
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to execute multiple projects concurrently
- Experience with all aspects of research (study design, recruiting, moderation, analysis, reporting)
- Strong communicator who is comfortable presenting data among diverse audiences (from others research team members to executive team members)
- Experience in analytical software (e.g., Q, R, SPSS, SAS, STATA, etc)
Desired Qualifications:
- 7+ years working in Consumer Insights
- Have designed research processes that support the needs of growing business & industry
- A plus if having the ability to conduct advanced statistical analysis – from factor analysis to cluster analysis
