All interns will be given the choice to work remotely or relocate to the internship location. The company will cover relocation services and will provide a living stipend to supplement housing, utility, and office supply costs.
- Must be pursuing a bachelors, masters, or PhD (Computer Science focus preferred) and graduating December 202 3 or later.
- Available for a 12-week internship starting in late May or late June.

Motion Capture Programming Internship: Join Activision’s Central Technology team and p articipate in R&D projects related to performance capture and character animation. You will also assist in developing, maintaining, and supporting asset creation pipelines and tools which integrate with different specific studio pipelines. This internship is located in Los Angeles, CA.
- Solid knowledge of C++ and object-oriented programming practices or a game engine (Unreal/Unity).
- Knowledge of mathematics for 3D graphics, particularly linear algebra.
- A passion for research and innovation.
- Experience with computer vision, numerical optimization, and Maya is a plus.
- EQt / PyQt / PySide development is a plus.
Rendering Internship: W ork on console, PC, and mobile titles to solve problems within render architecture, systems programming, GPU microcode, procedural geometry, ray-tracing , and performance analysis and optimization.
- Working knowledge of C++.
- Experience with at least one game-related domain (graphics, networking, embedded systems).
- Multi-threading, optimization (rendering and systems), and computer architecture are a plus.
- Practical facility in an additional language like Python or Rust.
- Code samples/portfolio required.
- Join one of our Central Technology R&D teams and help them research the future of our game graphics.
- Collaborate with some of the best engineers in the industry.
- Spend a summer focusing on a meaningful project that directly impacts game development while having an unparalleled experience.
- Participate in learning and development tech talks to understand how our employees come together to launch AAA games.

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $20.00 - $50.00 Hourly. This base pay range is for the U.S. and is not applicable to locations outside of the U.S. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location. In addition to a competitive base pay, employees in this role may be eligible for incentive compensation. Incentive compensation is not guaranteed.
