What You’ll Take On:
Work under the direct supervision of the SVP, Litigation and Global Regulatory Compliance, providing support and analysis on various types of assignments involving the company’s global compliance program, including:
Manage and Maintain Custody of Compliance Policies and Procedures, and Administer Periodic Compliance Trainings:
- Manage administration of live and online ethics and compliance training program and modules in the areas of anti-trust, anti-bribery and corruption, anti-harassment and discrimination, data privacy, anti-money laundering, government sanctions, and trade
- Assist to periodically update content of live and online compliance training programs
- Coordinate calendar of live and online training sessions, oversee global training schedule
- Maintain a clear understanding of training requirements and policies, work with HR group on an ongoing basis to ensure new and recently-promoted employees are assigned necessary trainings as required, compile monthly reports reflecting upcoming training needs, schedule meetings
- Help to design more efficient methods of record-keeping
- Communicate appropriate guidance to company employees and third parties regarding ethics and compliance training requirements
- Research benchmarking data and provide analysis
- Support other compliance-related requests on an as-needed basis
Manage Third-Party Diligence Process:
Manage all aspects of company’s third-party due diligence process including:
- Conduct reputational screenings on potential and current third parties
- Analyze diligence reports and escalate any points of concern
- Liase with third parties to obtain updated compliance agreements
- Monitor and update diligence material on periodic basis
- Provide appropriate guidance to company employees and third parties regarding due diligence policy and requirements
- Detect and escalate matters of concern in a timely fashion and be prepared to recommend solutions
- Think creatively to establish more efficient methods of managing our diligence process
Assist with Reporting regarding Ethics and Compliance Program:
- Help to ensure current ethics and compliance policies and procedures are properly disseminated throughout the company, and on our public website
- Manage updates and translations of our various policy and procedure documents
- Assist in providing periodic updates to the General Counsels, Chief Legal Officer, and Board of Directors
- Monitor email inbox and other means of communication to compliance department, and escalate as needed
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree and 2-5 years of experience
- Experience in the field of regulatory compliance
- Computer proficiency: Word, Outlook, Excel, Adobe and PowerPoint
- Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
- Ability to communicate intelligently, clearly and effectively
- Outstanding organization and prioritization skills with a meticulous attention to detail
- Ability to take direction but work independently and be proactive
- Excellent professional judgment
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to manage interactions with colleagues, executives, and third parties with high level of tact and professionalism
- Ability to work collegially with a broad range of people from many different backgrounds and cultures
