Primary Functions


The Compliance KYC Specialist will play a critical role in conducting research, analysis, and ongoing customer due diligence related to potentially suspicious activities in an online environment. As part of the Financial Crimes Compliance (“FCC”) Team, the Compliance KYC Specialist will monitor for and assess issues, patterns, and trends associated with money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and other financial crime-related risks.

● Strong analytical skills required, with financial crime and/or risk management investigative experience preferred
● Strong knowledge of GSuite and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access)
● Experience using customer relationship management (“CRM”) software such as Freshdesk
● Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (“CAMS”) or Certified Financial Crime Specialist (“CFCS”) preferred
● Ability to multi-task and stay flexible in a fast-paced, changing environment
● Excellent written and verbal communication skills
● Extremely organized and detail-oriented with the ability to make sound decisions supported by facts and analysis
● Team player with strong collaborative qualities and a positive demeanor
● Ability to work on confidential and sensitive matters with a high degree of professionalism and discretion
● Comfortable executing independent judgment with minimal supervision
● Willingness to learn and apply new skills

Education


● BA/BS degree or equivalent experience

Experience


● Minimum one year of professional experience preferably in compliance, fraud, risk management, e-commerce or gaming customer service
● Working knowledge of AML rules, laws, and regulations
● Experience with data analysis and manipulation required; experience analyzing data in a surveillance or investigative setting preferred
● Experience with software programming or automation a plus
