Competitive Intelligence Analyst

Bungie is looking for a Competitive Intelligence Analyst to deliver insights on best-in-class systems, features, and innovations in our competitive game space. As a Competitive Intelligence Analyst, you will tap into your expertise of game design and the game industry to analyze products and trends, write reports, and educate our internal teams on opportunities to make Bungie games better. You will collaborate with Designers, Product Managers, and User Researchers to inform product and studio strategy. You will spend a large portion of your day carefully documenting and analyzing every detail of a player’s experience, often repeating segments of a game over and over to uncover underlying design details and nuances of the gameplay, economy, and matchmaking systems.

The ideal candidate is a dedicated gamer, with deep knowledge across a broad range of genres and platforms. They are someone who understands what makes a successful game engaging, and they can translate that experience into actionable recommendations. They are eager to stay up-to-the-minute on industry news and trends, and they are enthusiastic about experiencing and researching as many games as possible.
