This position is a Work-From-Home arrangement.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position operates in a high-pace environment, demands a deep level of analysis and attention to detail to evaluate, research, design and generate data to support the administration of Keywords’ Compensation and Benefits Program, to include salary data, health, welfare and retirement. This individual will design and communicate pay structures, grades, and compensation costing; will administer benefits programs, to include monitoring weekly claims for the self-funded medical, dental and vision plan, detect discrepancies and conduct billing and reconciliation. The position will also provide service and information to employees regarding eligibility and coverage. May assist with developing and maintaining job descriptions and job architecture. Participates in compensation surveys, conducts research and analysis on market competitiveness, pay equity, and compensation trends. As a part of the Human Resources team, supports daily functions and longer-term initiatives that contribute to the overall well-being and improvement of our function, such as the employee engagement and wellbeing program. Reports to the Regional Compensation and Benefits Manager.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
This is not an exhaustive list of functions, responsibilities may vary dependent on the need of the role and changing business environment.
- Compile, analyze and report weekly and monthly data for the medical, dental and vision self-funded plan, including claims volume, utilization, and enrollments
- Ensure integrity and accuracy of benefits data through audits and reconciliation for self-billing invoices, correct discrepancies in coordination with Finance and vendors as required
- Partner with Broker of Record, insurance carriers and internal clients to ensure correct processing and administration of all the benefits coverages
- Provides data analysis, market competitive assessments and cost estimates as required
- Researches and calculates appropriate salary for new jobs / revised jobs
- Researches and directly responds to employees’ routine pay-related questions
- Supports annual salary updates, merit, and bonus planning and administration
- Supports the stock option program
- Participates in salary surveys, projects and initiatives as needed
- Coordinate and facilitate compliance related matters, in partnership with external vendors, including (but not limited to) completion of Form 5500s, ACA filings, annual audits, and non-discrimination testing
- Support new hire and annual benefits open enrollment processes, to include employee communications, prepping materials, coordination of training and presentations
- May perform other duties as assigned in the human resources department
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in compensation and benefits administration (medical self-funded preferred)
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge and familiarity with federal and state wage and salary lays and regulations (FLSA, Title VII, Equity Pay Act, ADA, ERISA, ACA, COBRA, IRC)
- Working knowledge of compensation and benefit programs (medical, dental, vision, flexible and health savings accounts, life and disability, retirement programs)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including building spreadsheets with formulas, pivot tables and lookup tables to build costing models and analysis, billing and reconciliation
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills, attention to detail and reporting, customer service oriented
REQUIRED AVAILABILITY:
Exempt position, working 5 days per week, with the flexibility to support locations on Pacific Time. Available to work additional hours as required to fulfill the requirements of the role. This may include extended shifts and occasional weekend work.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time.
