Compensation Specialist (Contract)

As an Amazon company, the Twitch People Team works closely with Amazon to ensure employee data is accurately captured and managed in Amazon’s systems. You will play a critical role by driving compensation programs, partnering with the broader People Team as well as with the AWS Compensation team.
You will work directly with partners across the People team to achieve reward system objectives. We are looking for candidates who have the aptitude to understand our complex data and be detailed and accurate from start to finish in developing programs and completing projects.
The successful candidate will provide support for the People team’s compensation function and technology portfolio including, but not limited to, compensation analysis, system administration, researching and resolving problems, and perform scheduled activities. Assist in the development of standard reports and dashboards for ongoing business needs. Maintain data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data.
Responsibilities
- Perform deep analysis on effectiveness and competitiveness of existing compensation programs and model potential impact of alternatives
- Effectively partner with HR and Business client to manage, consult, and resolve compensation issues consistent with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Provide guidance to the business and develop creative solutions on a variety of total compensation issues including the setting of appropriate pay levels, base pay, annual incentive pay and stock compensation
- Support the management of Sales Compensation plans, policies and processes each fiscal year (or as needed) that support business objectives
- Provide support with compensation programs including annual compensation planning, quarterly promotion processing, sales incentive plan tracking and administration
- Maintain and update people data in Workday (HRIS) including running standard and ad-hoc reports
- Assist in data analysis projects as needed
Requirements
- 2-5+ years of HR or finance administrative experience; Compensation experience preferred
- Experience in a fast-paced working environment
- Detail oriented and organized
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and Google Suite applications
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Workday experience a plus
- Strong research and project management skills
- Ability to hold self and others accountable to meet commitments, consistently delivering results within required timelines and expectations
