Compensation & Benefits Manager - Europe

In collaboration with the CCO, the Regional HR Directors, the European HR Management Team, Corporate Secretariat and the Finance Dept., the Compensation & Benefits Manager is responsible for ensuring fair and accurate compensation (including regular salaries, bonuses, stock options, pensions, and any additional types of employee benefits, ensure these comply with current legislation, human rights and pay equity) and coordinating all compensation and benefits efforts in the Region. The C&B Manager will establish best practices, help in attracting high-quality employees and in reducing turnover.
Working in partnership with Regional HR Directors, the HR Management Team, Corporate Secretariat and the Finance Dept., the C&B Manager will:
- Analyse and maintain an overview of total compensation for employees - including salary, bonus, long-term incentives, other benefits
- Identify opportunities for alignment and enhancement of benefits overall
- Identify trends and implement new practices (e.g. compensation and benefits programs, policies, procedures, monetary and not monetary benefits based on the employee needs, etc…) to engage and motivate employees, ensuring all of them comply with current legislation, human rights and pay equity.
- Identify opportunities for cost saving in overall compensation
- Bring expertise and insight to benefits management and recommend solutions in line with an overall benefits strategy, communicating with third-party services to negotiate benefit plans and resolve benefit-related issues
- Determine Market Rates: keep track of prevailing pay rates and make sure we offer competitive compensation plans. Develop and maintain benchmarking analysis
- Work with Regional HR Directors, the local HR Managers, Corporate Secretariat and Finance to agree changes to compensation
- Monitor Internal Equity and prepare metrics, KPIs and analytics to support the decision making process.
- Liaise with other benefits specialists in other regions to align approaches globally where possible
- Respond to Remuneration Committee requests for changes and/or questions relating to benefits of the executives and wider workforce
- Support the budget process in calculating the impacts of changes to remuneration approach
Requirements

- Personal integrity and ability to deal with and be trusted with confidential information
Technical Skills
- > 5 years of previous experience as a Compensation and Benefits Manager or similar role gained in an HR department, preferable in multinational context and in IT/Entertainment companies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Extensive knowledge of building compensation packages, policies, procedures, and applicable legislation in various countries, departments and seniority levels
- Experience operating employee share plans desirable but not essential
- Strong analytical and numerical skills (advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency is essential)
- Familiarity with labor legislation in at least 3 European Countries
- Excellent understanding of job evaluation and job analysis systems
