GG empowers digital storytellers, gamers and entertainers. We’re building Donut.gg -- a mobile video platform that lets people create, share, publish and discover highly engaging game-related short-form videos. GG is founded by successful repeat entrepreneurs and funded by top VCs Cherry Ventures and Point Nine Capital in addition to founders and executives of world-leading game companies.
We're looking for a smart and driven Community Manager or Community Lead to join our team. You will help us create the most engaging community of gaming creators.
Best products are created by teams with a diverse set of skills. We're looking for an outstanding person who has excellent communication skills with experience in at least one of the following fields:
- Creative: You have experience in producing content, for example creating YouTube videos or writing a blog
- Marketing & Comms: Ability to craft marketing and/or social media messages
- Maker mindset: You've made something where there was nothing before and feel like you know how to do that again.
Some examples of what you might do:
- You'll work closely with the founding team who will design your tasks based on your experience and interests
- Talk to our users on Instagram, Discord and other platforms
- Provide and prioritise feedback from the user community to the product team
- Support, feed & grow our product in early adopter communities around the world.
- Organise and run user tests and work on our strategy around continuous user testing
Qualifications:
- Native-level fluency in English (no German required)
- Pursuing a BS/MS degree, either graduating or willing to work 30h or more per week part-time
- Passionate about games, games content and creators
- Highly driven, curious and independent
- Prior community management experience a big plus
