Job Title: Community Specialist (Streaming)
Job Summary: As part of the larger Digital Consumer Engagement organization, the Community Marketing & Streaming team is responsible for utilizing owned channels to inform, entertain and establish two-way communications with Pokémon’s players and fans. The Community Specialist (Streaming) role will be one of the primary owners of Pokémon’s live streaming strategy and channels. They will be responsible for growing our audiences by investing in the strategy and programming for our streams.

What you’ll do
- Grow or create Pokémon’s streaming presence on all relevant broadcast platforms to establish the brand as a leader in those spaces, including (but not limited to) Twitch, YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and TikTok
- Create and execute on an “always on” content calendar to maintain an engaged fanbase all year long around our key products and experiences, including (but not limited to) animation, the Pokémon Trading Card Game, competitive play, Esports and more
- Collaborate with vendors, external partners and internal stakeholders to create tools that help our community connect with owned and earned Pokémon broadcast content
- Report on the performance of our live broadcasts, setting and driving KPIs to nurture and better serve Pokémon’s live streaming audiences
- Ideate and execute on new ways to attract new and lapsed fans to our broadcast channels, diversifying our content and ensuring Pokémon provides a safe space for everyone
- Track and report on audience sentiment around Pokémon’s live broadcasts, informing our live streamed content and the ways in which we can improve upon it
- Implement Esports best practices and industry standards to help improve the experience for spectators of our competitive broadcasts
- Partner with our moderation team to create a safe, civil space for our community in all our live stream chat rooms
- Foster and assist in the creation of what a healthy community landscape looks like for the business
Wha t you’ll bring
- Three (3) to four (4) years of related professional experience
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of streaming platforms (Twitch, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) and how they can be leveraged to achieve business goals
- Understand the highly competitive landscape of live broadcast platforms and content
- Flexibility of schedule to allow for some necessary weekend event work to support an ongoing live stream calendar
- Understanding of live streaming best practices, including live moderation and recognition of trending topics and content
- Experience creating, implementing, measuring and reporting on campaign and content performance
- Avid Pokémon player and fan, with knowledgeable and deep expertise in the franchise is a huge plus
- Experience in launching and/or growing an esports audience is a huge plus
- Experience working within strict brand and/or legal guidelines is a plus
- Experience working within a highly regulated industry is a plus
- Experience in planning and executing on a product launch is a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field is a plus
