Community Specialist

Psyonix is a video game developer best known for Rocket League, the award-winning game that combines soccer, driving, and highly competitive and addictive gameplay. We are looking for a Community Specialist to join the Communications team and become an important part of the Rocket League community. In this role, you will be responsible for channel moderation and direct interaction with both fans and influencers in the Rocket League community. Our ideal candidate is passionate about growing and maintaining a positive gaming community.

Responsibilities:

• Helping manage all community channels on a regular basis including logging suggestions, requests and bugs
• Tracking community sentiment, feedback, and help compile weekly community reports
• Working closely with the Community Manager and related teams on player behavior projects
• Managing and organizing moderators in all community channels (Reddit, Discord, etc.)
• Participating in weekly playtests to provide feedback to development
• Helping staff Rocket League social media accounts as needed
• Working with Rocket League influencers surrounding new in-game content and initiatives as needed
• Helping organize and staff community and consumer events as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years experience managing a community in video games or related industry
• In-depth experience using Discord, Reddit, and all major social media platforms
• Excellent communication skills - written and verbal
• Strong attention-to-detail in a fast-paced work environment
• Must be an experienced and passionate gamer
• Familiarity with Rocket League
• Speaking other languages is a plus
