The Community Manager will report directly to a Manager of Community within the communications department and work closely with our marketing and consumer insights teams, but will functionally be embedded within the studio of their specific product to serve as a conduit of feedback and insights as a key function of our player lifecycle management.
In this role, you will be responsible for executing, monitoring, reporting and handling the ongoing dialogue and cadence of information between our key internal teams and our players.
What you'll do:
- Develop compelling player-facing communications for announcements and products.
- Engage the community daily across various preferred communications platforms.
- Build and execute strategic community development campaigns in concert with the Marketing team.
- Be a conduit for player feedback and sentiment.
- Identify and mitigate community concerns as they emerge.
- Develop messaging playbooks with Senior Communications team and community managers.
- Manage sentiment to foster a creative, safe, vibrant and welcoming community.
- Work with internal and external teams to create, edit and publish written content across various communication channels.
What You Bring
- Proven ability managing game communities.
- Proficiency in social media management and reporting tools (such as Sprinklr).
- Experience with content management software a plus.
- A dedication to fan communities and video gaming.
- Creativity, passion, and enthusiasm for community management.
- Experience monitoring, reporting, and managing community sentiment.
- Knowledge of voice, tone, and other buzzwords for how we speak with our fans.
- A mind for developing communications tools to help moderation teams interact in positive ways.
