Community Manager (WoT Blitz) with English + German

Job Overview

WoT Blitz team responsible for an online mobile shooter game with 10s of millions of installs is now seeking a passionate gamer and skilled communicator to join us in Berlin or Vilnius. In this role, you'll become our official liaison with the German and English speaking WoT Blitz player base on our community and media platforms (Discord, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc.), tasked with boosting our community relations to the next level, supporting interactions with our core players at key touchpoints, and guiding new players along their journey to becoming Blitz super fans.

What will you do?

• Be one of the faces and voices of World of Tanks Blitz and proactively contribute to discussions with player communities across the Social Networks: Discord, YouTube or any other channel where we need to be.
• Play WoT Blitz to understand features and game mechanics, use game experience while managing different engagement activities.
• Answer general and specific game questions, taking part in livestreams.
• Manage social media publications to inform and engage players.
• Collaborate with other functions and regional offices on communications planning to support game updates and a multitude of other events and communications.
• Support regional programs for community contributors, volunteers, and other fan groups.
• Listen to the community, bring insights to make the game more interesting to players.
• Identify opportunities for, and assist in the execution of tournaments, offline events, and player gatherings.
• All other duties that may be assigned by the company within the scope of this role.

Who are we looking for?

• 1.5 + years of proven experience developing online communities or/and social media.
• You are well-versed in community-management, communications, and moderation.
• Mobile or PC gaming experience.
• Perfect communication skills in German and English with diverse audiences in any format and on any platform, while being aware about potential sensitivities.
• You are comfortable and proven effective in multi-cultural environments, and are capable of remaining calm and thoughtful in fast-paced high-pressure environments and when communicating publicly.
• You take pride in maintaining and developing the skills essential to your position and are willing to assume responsibility for tasks large and small necessary to accomplish your goals.
• You seek to build your coworkers up and to share your knowledge and experience for the betterment of the team.
• You engage in fighting fires to save the day, give honest and constructive feedback.

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• You have WoT Blitz gaming experience.
• You’re familiar with basic data analysis to support your reporting of community sentiment.
• You’ve produced and hosted livestream content and are familiar with current livestream, audio and/or video tech.

The position is for Berlin or Vilnius Office in Hybrid mode (3 days per week in the office, the rest can be approved for home office after the probation period).

The salary range for this role in Vilnius is EUR 2.800 - 3.800 monthly gross.
