Stardock is currently seeking a talented Community Manager to manage the day-to-day operational activities surrounding our online communities. This person will play a key role on the team by facilitating positive player engagement online, identifying potential social media strategies, and supporting internal teams to address community feedback and improve product quality. This is a salaried, full-time position at our Plymouth, Michigan studio with hybrid work flexibility.

Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Maintain consistent presence within online communities including but not limited to official forums and on community-managed sites such as Reddit and Discord.
- Manage and help moderate official Stardock Discord servers and forums.
- Identify and establish relationships with key community members and content creators and facilitate internal initiatives to engage with these players.
- Collect user feedback on issues, suggestions, and concerns and provide players guidance, support, and insight on all existing and new content.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure that community feedback is tracked and addressed through reporting.
- Create innovative and engaging social media content and drive content initiatives related to Stardock games/software across all social media platforms.
- Coordinate with in-house Marketing team to support stakeholder plans for in-game events, game content updates, and promotions.
- Support the creation and publication of game-related content, product updates, wikis, etc.
- Work cross-functionally to complete community-related tasks as assigned.
Education and/or Experience Desired:
- 3+ years of community/social media experience in gaming.
- Existing knowledge of Stardock and its titles.
- Passion for Strategy and Simulation games and the surrounding online communities required.
- Experience using popular social networking tools and trends.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Experience in a customer-facing communication role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and organizational skills.
Bonuses:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations or relevant field is a plus.
- Technical knowledge of online community platforms, systems, and software.
- Video editing/creation experience.
