You are a passionate gamer with a strong background in mobile games. You thrive on collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop engaging content for players to consume on social media. You eagerly keep up with the latest trends in gaming and social media to ensure your content is relevant and reaches the largest audience. You enjoy developing communications strategies that drive interest in our games.
Our Los Angeles studio is hiring a Community Manager to join our Community Team.
You will contribute by:
- Develop and manage community strategy, and social calendars for various game social media channels
- Create and manage communications and content on social media channels with a high level of quality and timeliness
- Develop innovative plans, programs, and strategies to increase the reach of communication and community engagement
- Be a driver for our social media content pipeline with our Creative Teams
- Plan and execute community projects, including online events and promotions
- Plan and execute boosting and promotion activity on various social media channels
- Evaluate and report impact/result of communications and community promotion
- Collaborate with other teams/departments to develop and grow the game brand
- Generate meaningful/constructive reports on community sentiment and game feedback
- Manage and evaluate performance and progression of official communication platforms
- Build strong relationships with relevant teams
- Perform light image editing for social media
Your background includes:
- Over 3 years of experience in community management, social media management/marketing, or other public communication-related fields
- Strong understanding of current social media trends and mobile game community trends
- Ability to communicate effectively with mobile game communities
- A passionate gamer and strong understanding/experience in mobile games
- Strong writing skills and practical experience in writing social media copy
- Excellent communications skills, verbal and written for internal and external situations (including international)
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Good detail-oriented analytical and reporting skills
- Self-motivated and able to develop new initiatives as well as manage multiple tasks with little supervision
- Able to travel as required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Business level of English skills
