Team Overview
Guerrilla’s Franchise & Community Team aims to establish, maintain and expand the Horizon brand. This includes looking after the community, marketing, public relations, licensing and all franchise building aspects of the Horizon brand. The team also looks after the Guerrilla studio brand and culture.
As a Community Manager you will collaborate with a variety of internal teams to evangelize our community’s needs. You will work closely with the rest of the Franchise and Community Team to create engaging content for our community, organise livestreams as well as help plan any additional video content, and in all your efforts advocate and foster a safe and inclusive community environment for our fans.

What you will do
- Execute communication strategies across all Guerrilla channels and products;
- Grow, manage, and support the Horizon community through engaging content plans and assist with channel moderation to maintain a safe and accessible space for our entire community;
- Plan, create, and host a variety of content for all our channels, including streams, podcasts and competitions;
- Continue to build relationships with our players, moderators, and creators, as well as focus on onboarding new fans into our community;
- Communicate regularly with various internal teams regarding community sentiment, engagement, and key campaign beats;
- Create clear and regular reports to internal stakeholders in which you evangelise player needs and assess communication strategy results;
- Contribute to other Guerrilla projects such as franchise launches, studio communications, and internal and external events.
Who you are
- 2+ years experience in managing, supporting, and developing an engaged gaming community;
- Demonstrable experience in creating and executing content plans to support strategic campaign beats;
- Experience with a variety of content creation tools, such as OBS Studio (or similar) and social scheduling software;
- Collaborative team player with a self-starting, curious, and positive attitude;
- Fluent in English with strong (verbal and written) communication skills;
- Willing and able to represent Guerrilla at (international) events;
- Within commuting distance, or willing to relocate, to our studio in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
Plusses:
- Extensive knowledge of the Horizon franchise;
- Experience in livestreaming or presenting (please provide examples if you do);
- Interest in new media, accessibility, and inclusivity.
