As Community Manager, Games, you’ll work directly on titles large and small, across the full spectrum of business models and platforms. Your responsibilities will include translating key messages, strategies, and assets for various social media and community platforms. Alongside supporting big beats like trailers, events, and launches, you’ll feed the social content monster by creating compelling briefs for in-house and agency partners using expert game knowledge and understanding of the community. You'll engage with player communities and track their sentiment. You’ll also share feedback from the community with folks across the development and publishing teams, ensuring players have a voice in the room.

Responsibilities:

  • Come to work with empathy for both the devs making the game and the players who choose to make our games a part of their lives
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and contribute to business goals & strategy from a player-focused perspective
  • Lead the crafting of player-facing content and communications alongside internal/external artists and creatives, including social calendars, imagery, memery, video, and copy
  • Support standard development releases through patch notes, FAQs, developer-fan communications, and thoughtful channel strategy
  • Develop and execute key community initiatives including establishing and cultivating community hubs (Discord, Reddit, etc.), live event staffing, and contests
  • Establish feedback loops between players and dev teams, providing influential reporting on core issues and community sentiment
  • Keep up with the latest developments in social, tracking the rise and fall of platforms, content trends, and important algorithm changes

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years experience in Community, Comms, or Marketing roles
  • Experience in video games helps tremendously
  • Demonstrable creative taste
