Community Manager

The Community Manager contributes as the primary contact between the players and the development team. You will work with many other disciplines - marketing, branding, QA, and development – to ensure that messages going out to the player community are coordinated and helpful for both players and the product. They also are an important conduit for information from the players flowing back to the development team, product team and others.

POSITION SPECIFIC:

• You will use social media and other platforms such as Discord to communicate with the player community.
• You will monitor channels and forums for player feedback and distill it for company partners.
• You will prepare reports for reactions to new content releases, such as 24 hour and 48 hour reports.
• You will anticipate player reactions to new developments.
• You will coordinate efforts with external teams in the greater EA organization.
• You will foster positivity in player community.
• You will evaluate extreme feedback for possible escalation.
• You will create internal channels for branding, marketing and other partners to agree on messaging.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

• 5 years community management experience.
• Experience with a range of social media platforms.
• High emotional intelligence and thick skin for dealing with online provocateurs.
• Quickly and effectively identify and resolve conflict.
