Your Mission
You will be responsible for leading community management for our franchises. This expert manager will with proven experience in community management and social media engagement is an individual with in-depth game playing experience and understanding of the game industry and its community. The person needs to be creative, self-motivated, and proactive and should be able to set best community strategies and communicate well with both HQ and local stakeholders for all the projects.
Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:
- Develop effective plans, programs, and strategies to increase reach and community engagement for Activision Blizzard franchises
- Inform and engage our players through social media channels, streams and other venues.
- Plan and execute stream campaigns to increase our player reach and engagement in line with in-game content beat and promotion and evaluate and analyze the campaign results and seek effective ways to drive improvement
- Develop reports on community activities and pulse/voice of the community and provide meaningful feedback on the community’s sentiment, concerns, and suggestions to ensure optimal engagement, community impact, and enhanced company/franchise reputation.
- Drive the franchise eSports communications to build excitement and engagement for eSports
- Build relationships with community partners such as fan sites, influencers, and external key community managers to promote our communication efforts
- Build positive relationships within the team, HQ community, and the stakeholders within the company and the industry.
- Collaborate with other teams to develop and execute the company’s Integrated Marketing Communication plan.
Player Profile
Experience
- 7+ years of experience in community, social media or other public communication related field
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong understanding of current social media trends and game/entertainment community/eSports
- An exceptional writing skills and practical experience in writing/editing articles/posts
- Excellent interpersonal skills to interact with external partners
- Business level of English skill
Key Attributes
- Good analytical and reporting skills and detail-oriented
- Self-motivated and ability to develop new initiatives as well as managing multiple tasks with little supervision
Extra Points
- Previous experience in game/entertainment/eSports industry
- Previous experience in online/viral/digital marketing or content related business
- Knowledge and/or network with current game community/influencers and partners.
