Community Manager

The ideal candidate would have a love of FPS videogames (F2P a plus) and possess a strong mix of creative writing and photo/video editing technical skills while being able to navigate around social media/streaming platforms. You'll be flexing your creative juices through copywriting of blog content as well as creating visually impactful assets for use across a wide array of platforms where our communities reside. You thrive in getting the word out to the world about the latest game offerings and celebrate in seeing communities grow from the ground up.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop full circle community strategies that establishes a strong connection with a new community for our upcoming FPS title while ensuring business objectives are met
- Coordinate cross functionally between development, PR, product marketing, and legal departments to execute social media campaigns
- Become the public facing liaison between community evangelists and influencers
- Write editorial content through in-depth knowledge of our games and developer interviews
- Produce and participate in live streamed community content
- Manage reporting across our social media and community to monitor discussions, sentiment, and growth metrics
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Marketing, Communications, PR, English, Journalism or Audio/Video Production preferred
- Minimum of 2-4 years of related fields focusing on video games, consumer brands/products or entertainment
- Extensive experience with social media networks and content platforms, including Discord, Facebook, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, Twitch, Twitter, and YouTube
- Technical experience in setting up live streams from creative development to technical execution
- Strong proficiency in video and photo editing through Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Premiere, etc.)
- A passion for games, including but not limited to FPS genre and games as a live service titles. Mobile & F2P experience/knowledge is a plus
- Problem solver who thrives in taking initiative
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Public speaking and interviewing experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Keynote, Adobe Reader
- Proven ability to interact and communicate effectively with a variety of business functions and team leads
- Ability to evaluate performance data and deliver insights based on success metrics/KPIs
- Detail-oriented, self-directed skills including the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, including adaptability to fluid and last-minute changes
- Come into the office at least 2 times a week
