Community Manager - Midcore Games

Job Description
We are currently creating an unannounced midcore game that takes mobile games to the next level, both in terms of visual graphics and gameplay! As our game will be inherently social, we are looking for a self-motivated marketing professional that is passionate about building communities from the ground up! If Twitch, Discord, Mixer and YouTube Gaming are your daily playground, then this is the job for you!
Some responsibilities of this position are:
- Work hand in hand with the studio’s Marketing Manager to layout a strategy to build and grow a loyal community for our new upcoming game.
- As you build the community from scratch, identify core members as well as relevant micro-influencers to take part in closed betas to gather product feedback, summarizing key learnings for the team while allowing the community to feel connected to the future of the product.
- Develop highly engaging content across social platforms, (Youtube, Twitch, TikTok Instagram) that is highly targeted to our game’s unique audiences.
- Provide thoughtful feedback to game teams on the community’s general sentiment, new ideas, and top concerns, including monitoring Google Play and App Store reviews.
- Crafting player centric messaging for all aspects of the game, distributed on game forums and social channels.
- Identify opportunities to integrate the community and micro-influencers in product features and events, to help grow the game’s metrics over time.
Qualifications
The perfect candidate has…
- +2 years of experience growing social communities in the video gaming industry.
- Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of personalities.
- Highly creative, open minded individual with a passion for pitching new ideas and opportunities to the team.
- Track record of innovation, driving new ideas and strategies from concept to execution.
- Deep understanding and experience with social platforms such as Twitch, Discord, Reddit, YouTube, etc.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and manage time effectively.
- Knowledge of marketing, advertising and communication.
- Photoshop and video editing skills is a plus.
- Organized and decisive person.
- Highly autonomous and self motivated, but also thrives within a team environment.

- Previous experience in social media, and publishing and marketing.
- Excellent level in oral and written English.
