The Reporting Manager acts as the internal expert and owner of all data reporting requirements within the Community Management department. Ensuring all the CM Leads and Community Managers have access to the data they need to ensure successful delivery of Community Management services to our clients.
Keywords Player Support provides Community Management services to various gaming companies. The Reporting Manager’s mission is to ensure that all data and metrics related to all client projects are accessible to the relevant members of the team. This role will mostly be working with data from social media platforms.
For all projects in the Community Management department there is an aspect of data analysis and reporting that is required to be delivered to clients. The Reporting Manager will ensure that all data and metrics within CM projects are available and in a format that is fit for purpose. In turn this will support the CM Leads to deliver agreed client reports and allow the team to make informed analytical recommendations, ultimately ensuring that all reporting work is delivered as agreed and our clients are happy.
The position sits within the Community Management team and all members, are expected to contribute to overall success of the Community Management services through the sharing of ideas, building best practices and collaborating with the wider department.
Responsibilities include:
- Advising and consulting on all processes related to data management across all projects within the Community Management team.
- Onboarding the reporting requirements for new projects, reviewing current set ups and suggesting improvements and optimizations
- Reviewing current reporting setup, ensuring this is fit for purpose, acceptable to client and the team are using the most efficient methods possible to access, review, analyse and share data.
- Reporting project statuses and information to the management team on a regular basis.
- Ensuring that correct quality control procedures are implemented and then met.
- Set up and then ensure that project procedures and quality standards are adhered to
- Whilst this isn’t a directly client facing role occasionally there will be a need to liaise directly with clients to gain access to the data sources needed
- Other related tasks required by the Community Management Team
Qualification and requirements:
- As the singular expert for reporting in the team the Reporting Manager will need to be able to work independently and find solutions to problems.
- A Data expert with a proven track record of setting up and managing social data reporting structures, particularly experience in Google Data Studio, Google Sheets and Super Metrics will be useful for this role
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Data Management, particularly knowing the nuances of data access for different social platforms e.g. Twitter, FB, IG, Discord.
- A self motivated and proactive attitude.
- Ability to work effectively and decisively under pressure and hit deadlines
- An ability to multi task and set your own priorities
- Ability to analyze problems, recommend and implement effective solutions
- Whilst analysing data isn’t a requirement here an understanding of the best way to present data so it can be easily understood will be important
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Advanced knowledge of Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Data Studio)
- Advanced knowledge of Windows Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Excellent level of English.
