Job Description
Ubisoft, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a full-time Community Developer, Engagement professional reporting to the Community Management Team. Ubisoft’s Community Management Team is responsible for managing relationships and communications with our player communities around the world. We accomplish this task by creating multi-channel campaigns that produce engaging content to grow and retain our community members.
The Community Developer, Engagement will partner directly with our Community Teams and publishing partners to architect and execute digital campaigns for our products & brands. They will refine global plans by leveraging best-practices for identifying channel and content strategies, driving compelling engagement, and using performance insights to ultimately deliver our community objectives.
Working in conjunction with our listening and content teams, the Community Developer, Engagement will be instrumental in optimizing our engagement at a regular weekly basis. They’ll have editorial oversight to deliver success on short and long-term activations, from brief through publication
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Advise on global community engagement plans and campaigns from strategy to execution by partnering with key stakeholders and connecting multiple plans into cohesive multi-channel stories
- Collaborate with Community Developers on defining a Channel Strategy for each franchise in each portfolio, including which channels to be on, what to post, and the frequency to post on them
- Provide editorial oversight for our global content engagement with industry best-practices, for short and long-term activations, from brief to publication
- Bring Community Engagement Plans to the next level by integrating industry-leading campaign ideas and finding new opportunities for Ubisoft to celebrate its games with its fans
- Gather relevant content insights, audience breakdowns, locale performance, and other community related data to proactively establish and continuously pursue KPIs and increased performance of activations and content
- Offer ongoing insights throughout our campaign planning and execution through opportunities including but not limited to post-mortems, competitive analyses, ad hoc reports, etc.
- Utilize platform and audience data for our distinctive brands, to continually optimize how we can successfully engage our communities.
- Partner with content and insight teams (such as Communications, CRM, BPM, Social Media, Gameplan, etc.) to provide strategic expertise and grow a shared knowledge pool
- Align the team’s priorities with the Ubisoft business, ensuring the level of support (including agency support) for each title matches up with the expectations set by department leadership
- Increase the Ubisoft Community Team's visibility by ensuring that our tools and usage are up to date - refining our social listening tools, content management, and shared calendars
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Community Development, Community Marketing, Program Management, or other relevant Community Management experience
- Strong cross-functional skills to understand and work with partners such as Brand Marketing, Content Marketing, Communications, CRM and more
- Proven success with developing and executing large-scale content strategies and activations
- Expertise in developing and using data to determine KPIs for driving performance with partners on a regular basis
- Extensive knowledge of social media platforms (Meta, Twitter, YouTube, TikTok, Twitch, etc.)
- Experience working in a demanding Production environment, with multiple deadlines, objectives, and stakeholders.
- Experience launching a AAA title is a strong plus.
- Experience in social media marketing is a strong plus.
- Experience with digital asset creation (video, photo, podcasts, etc.) a plus.
- Experience with project management and project management tools a plus
