Job Description
As Communications and Social Media Coordinator, you will create and manage the internal & external communication for the studio. Develop and drive the studio’s corporate Social Media strategy in line with our Communication & HR objectives and implement it, from the creation of content to the statistical analysis of our results. You will help develop the image of the studio as a friendly, inclusive, and casual atmosphere that is attractive to new hires, celebrates our teams, and engages our players.
In detail, your missions will be:
- Partner with RSE Studio leadership to ensure successful internal communications to keep employees well-informed of studio and companywide messaging
- Be the key contact and represent the studio with the Global Communications team at our HQ in Paris
- Create compelling content for telling the RSE story to internal & external audiences
- Partner with the UBI communications team to accomplish key priorities including culture, strategy, business, and change management efforts
- Creation of the weekly/monthly RSE and UBI-centric news, in line with the PR, HR, production & marketing teams’ feedback.
- Execute and implement a results-driven social media strategy for audiences on various platforms such as: Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and LinkedIn.
- Develop and curate engaging content for all social media platforms in bi-weekly or monthly content calendars.
- Analyze the performance of social media campaigns and posts, track and report monthly metrics.
- Assist in the creation and editing of written, video, and photo content.
- Maintain unified brand voice across different social media channels to reflect the Red Storm brand tone and voice.
- Research and monitor social media channels for industry trends.
- Interact with users and respond to social media messages, comments and manage the Red Storm community on socials.
- Creation of the annual roadmap.
- Setting and monitoring of qualitative & quantitative objectives to drive recruitment, social initiatives and celebrate our teams/games.
- Creation of the weekly/monthly UBI-centric news, in line with the HR, production & marketing teams’ feedback.
- Mange and improve the website in coordination with teams.
- Help manage company response for crisis and issues that may arise, working across PR and other divisions to create messaging and respond quickly and effectively
- Assist in studio events planning, coordination, and SM/Web content gathering.
Qualifications
- Communications, Journalism, Social Media focused Bachelor’s Degree highly preferred
- 1-2 years of communications experience with some social media marketing experience preferred
- Examples of previous work or client profiles preferred
- Graphic Design experience is preferred
- Passion for social media and proficiency with major SM platforms and SM management tools
- Proficiency with video and photo editing tools, digital media formats, and HTML
- Excellent social listening , written and verbal communication and creative direction skills.
- Ability to understand historical, current, and future trends in the digital content and social media space especially in the gaming industry.
- Social Media savvy – aware of new trends, avenues of engagement. Keeps abreast of trends with ability make recommendations tailored to identified objectives.
- Experience creating Social Media strategies that drives KPIs.
- Proficient in Wordpress, have a good knowledge of Photoshop and are comfortable with statistical analysis in Excel.
- Willingness to learn new areas of communication, marketing and social media engagement.
- Assist in studio events planning, coordination, and SM/Web content gathering.
