Communications and Partnerships Jr. Manager, NA

PUBG Corp. is the developer and publisher of the blockbuster battle royale video game, PLAYERUNKNOWN'S BATTLEGROUNDS (PUBG). Headquartered in Korea, PUBG Corp. has operational offices globally across North America, Europe, Japan, China, and South East Asia.

We are in search of a bright mind to join our Communications and Partnerships team in North America. In this position, you will be responsible for supporting the Communications and Partnerships Lead to develop and execute strategies relating both to public relations as well as developing PUBG streamers and influencers in North America. Collaborating closely with various teams including community managers, marketing, and product managers in all other global offices, you will play an integral role in bringing strategies and campaigns to life that raise the profile of the PUBG brand as well as the influencers who serve as ambassadors to our game.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing tactics and strategies that will retain and build long term loyalty with online streamers/influencers
• Support North American PR activities via both pitching and tracking coverage of the PUBG brand and similar titles
• Manage, help and support existing partnered streamers to focus on PUBG
• Manage the presence of PUBG on streaming and video channels including Twitch, Youtube, etc.
• Plan and facilitate the creation of content for our streaming and video channels
• Monitor streamers/influencers’ voice (feedback, concerns, suggestions) regarding PUBG as well as direct competition and proactively/routinely report sentiment within the influencer space to internal teams
• Track and evaluate ongoing trends in influencer space in the region to ensure PUBG activities are best in class
• Collaborate with community managers, execute other community initiatives for streamers
• Utilize streaming efforts to support PUBG communication strategy
• Foster relationships with streamers/influencers and provide them with updates on PUBG
• Monitor, analyze and report key performance metrics to management
• Other related responsibilities, as assigned

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in related field
• A passionate gamer and strong understanding of/experience in shooters, game videos, and esports
• Understanding of current streaming and social media trends as well as game/entertainment community
• Understanding of general public relations trends in North America as well as game/tech industry specifically
• Experience working with international teams and exposure to multicultural environments
• Capability for event planning and management
• Strong communications and negotiation skills (strategic thinking and leadership) and ability to interface effectively with both gamers and developers
• Strong customer service ethic
• Good analytical and reporting skills, being detail-oriented
• Idea generator who is eager to experiment, learn and grow in multiple fields
• Able to travel as required both globally and domestically
