Communications Designer

As a Communications Designer, you understand the power of story and concise communication. Based on this understanding, you will bring clarity to complex problems through your ability to synthesize information presenting it in an expertly crafted way.

Unity Solutions is a division within Unity that focuses on the creation of advanced software application development, expanding Unity’s ability to bring Real-Time 3D to experiences that extend beyond gaming. This specialized division targets a unique cross-section of business sectors that range from retail to heavy industries.

You’ll be an advocate for the Unity Brand. Your primary responsibility will be creating presentation decks that support Unity Solutions, in efforts to bring new business to the company.

The presentations you create will represent the face of Unity for prospective clients. You will play a key role in upholding the standards for presentations across our group. You’ll operate within a highly collaborative, fast-paced and rewarding environment.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership leading the creation of presentation decks across a diverse set of teams and subject matter
• Collaborate closely with members of our Business Development team and Design Leads on all aspects of our presentation decks
• Understand and uphold brand guidelines and best practices in the creation of presentation decks
• Constantly improve on the process and efficiency of the presentations produced
• Raise the bar when it comes to effective presentation and communication methods
• Work alongside concept & storyboard artists to help shape the visuals that support the stories we’re trying to tell

Requirements

• Solid previous experience creating stunning presentation decks
• Superb layout and typographic skills
• Expert-level written and verbal communication skills with the ability to confidently articulate ideas
• A fierce editor — “do we really need that many bullet points?”
• Mastery of Google Slides, Apple Keynote, and Microsoft PowerPoint, along with proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Sketch or Figma

Bonus Points

• Strong critical thinking skills
• Well experienced in implementing feedback and suggestions
• The ability to create supporting visuals (mockups/sketches/illustrations/iconography) for use within your presentations
• Experience within the field of User Experience Design
• Understanding and interest in advanced technologies such as Augmented and Virtual reality
