The Franchise Team is at the bleeding edge of where Magic: The Gathering is going. Your job is to help tell its story.

The Magic: The Gathering team at Wizards of the Coast is looking for a talented, entrepreneurial and detail-oriented Communications Associate with a drive to communicate with our fans, both new and existing. The best candidates will have a talent for communications planning, writing, and a strong knowledge of gaming fandom.

The Magic: The Gathering brand is a broad umbrella encompassing an array of studios, expressions, games, and audiences. A successful Communications Associate works across all of them to deliver clear, useful, and positive communications that impact community knowledge and sentiment. You’ll work closely with marketing to launch new products, with community teams to respond to fan concerns, and with the studios to effectively message their initiatives.

This individual should be adept at leading communications campaigns, working across teams, creating and leading messaging, and keeping plates spinning across brand communications.

This position is a contract-to-hire opportunity.
