Job Description
The Communication Specialist handles the internal and external communication for the studio in order to build and promote a consistent brand image at industry level, to ensure a constant & transparent communication across teams and engage them.
Type of Position: Permanent, full-time.
Responsibilities:
The main and routine functions of the Communication Specialist are to:
- Develop & implement the internal and external communication campaigns according to the studio needs.
- Select the best communication channels to reach internal and external audiences, in order to support the delivery of the communication strategy.
- Assess the opportunities for new communication programs, evaluate existing programs and make recommendations to ensure maximum impact.
- Develop employer branding campaigns to support growth and retention.
- Manages the purchase orders and relationships with vendors for communications projects.
Daily tasks
- Identify, craft and convey internal key messages to engage teams around Ubisoft, to strengthen their pride in Ubisoft and keep them informed.
- Write creative content for internal and external communication campaigns.
- Shape compelling stories & messages, adapt the right style and define the most performing channels to build, promote and protect Ubisoft image and reputation.
- Manage media relations. Develop and deliver press releases to key media contacts to generate media coverage. Monitor local media and develop media coverage reports.
- Organize press events and support external speakers in media requests.
- Offer support for external events (job fairs, industry events, university events etc.).
Qualifications
Training:
Degree in communications, public relations, journalism or a related field.
Experience:
3-5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in the IT or gaming industry or in an agency.
Other skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English, Romanian;
- Proof of prior experience in writing (personal blog, personal projects, other projects) is welcomed
- Experience in working with Social Media is a plus
- Computer knowledge (PowerPoint, excel, word)
- Good organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks effectively;
- Self-sufficiency, autonomy, proactivity;
- Proven experience working as part of a results-driven team;
- Inquisitive, easy learner, ability to synthetize
- Plus: Knowledge of the gaming industry (gamer)
