Communication Channel Manager [Uplay]

Job Description

We are looking for a Communication Channel Manager to join our Uplay team. Uplay is a digital distribution platform for PC games and the customer facing application for many online services developed at Ubisoft.

As a Communication Channel Manager, you will be defining the communication strategy in the Uplay client channels. You will focus on the news page and game pages through different articles as well as promotion tabs, through dedicated embedded web pages created on event or content basis.

You will have the chance to be one of the central figures for the news team at Uplay and support and motivate your team members. You will work closely together with and Ubisoft studios around the globe; shop teams, development teams, brand teams within different game projects and other partners within the organization and make sure to publish their content with a strategic mindset. Responsibilities:
Partnerships :
• Build and maintain a strong and trusting relationship between Uplay and a diverse set of internal and external collaboration partners for sourcing and coordinating content on Uplay
• Identify opportunities and synergies for collaborations among existing or new partners
Optimization:
• Setup and improve processes for content publishing on Uplay
• Drive news page and promotion tabs improvements
Reporting:
• Own and improve all KPIs that are relevant for the Uplay communication channels
• Be responsible for the quality and quantity of the news and promotion tabs within Uplay
• Serve as the main point of contact for all teams working with Uplay on communication topics
Team:
• Support and motivate the team consisting of news coordinators
• Brainstorm with team members to develop new ideas. You will provide editorial, creative and technical support to team

Qualifications

You are passionate and curious about games and the gaming industry. You enjoy creating strategy for communication and transform this into an action plan with the delivery target in mind. You are inclusive and able to take and give feedback to improve yourself and your team. You focus on the well-being of your team members and want to make sure they succeed in their roles. Besides the above we’re looking for someone aligned with our core values and the following skills and experience:

• 4+ years relevant experience of a similar position working with a digital platform
• Experience of mentoring and/or leading a team
• Bonus: Industry experience
