Commercial Manager ANZSummary
*This is a 12-15 months Fixed Term Contract role.
The role is responsible for leadership of the ANZ finance team and the provision of financial analysis and advice to the ANZ leadership team.
The key outcomes for this position are to:
• Collaborate and Partner with the ANZ business leads to provide strategic and tactical business support that guides and influences key decision makers in the achievement of strategic business growth objectives. Support development of pricing & commercials for new commercial models or business lines;
• Support the ANZ leadership team to interpret financial data to track against financial objectives;
• Provision of commercial systems, processes, reports and management information that enable analysis, recommendations and review of actions for business opportunities, projects and gap closure;
• Provision of regular ad-hoc analysis of information to provide insight into relevant business drivers to the ANZ leadership team and business partners;
• Provision of objective and relevant analysis and modelling to support the development of budgets and business plans; Provision of strategic and commercial recommendations, support, advice and insight to ensure that the ANZ businesses meet functional, operational, strategic and financial goals and deliverables;
• Provision of commercial systems, processes, reports and management information that enable analysis, recommendations and review of actions for business opportunities, projects and gap closure;
• Provision of an assurance of the financial feasibility of business cases inclusive of the management of business and commercial risk; and
• Internally, the role must work collaboratively with finance regional leads, corporate finance, sales, commercial strategy, and marketing.What You'll Do
Operational responsibilities
- Ensuring an ongoing drive for continuous improvement of business performance through the provision of accurate financial information and guidance to facilitate sound decision-making;
- Identification of opportunities to increase efficiency and improve quality, providing trend analysis of forecasting, KPI analysis, analysis of business cases submitted for investment;
- Evaluating proposed new commercial products or models for return on investment;
- Leading business initiatives of change management programs;
- Oversee the accuracy and timeliness of the accounting records and management reports, ensuring compliance with relevant internal policies and procedures to satisfy corporate governance requirements;
- Consolidation of financials, including the forecasting, reporting and analysis; and
- Overseas the delivery of standard financial reporting.
Leadership responsibilities
- Recruit, train, develop, lead, mentor, motivate and appraise team members and ensure that the safety, welfare and discipline of the team is in line with the published core competencies of Aristocrat;
- Support direct reports to formulate and implement individual development plans for improved performance; and
- Support coaching of non-finance people within the business in areas of commercial effectiveness.

Strategic
- Involved and/or lead initiatives that are aligned to the region or groups 5-year Strategy;
- Contribute to the development of the regions 5-year Strategic Plan;
- Supports the GM Finance APAC and is the lead financial business partner to the ANZ regional leadership team;
- Support in driving global alignment of Gaming processes; and
- Supporting the ANZ leadership team to ensure long-term sustainability of the business.
What We're Looking For
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field;
- CA/CPA preferred, but not required;
- 7+ years of experience in similar position;
- Highly proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and financial planning tools (e.g., TM1, Hyperion, Anaplan); and
- Business and industry acumen.

- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including ability to translate complex or technical information to non-technical stakeholders;
- Ability to autonomously manage multiple priorities and gain alignment with key stakeholders;
- Financial analysis, modelling and planning;
- Process mapping and business case development;
- Ability to analyse complex financial data, generate insights and implement changes to improve business performance;
- Team player;
- Customer focused; and
- Strong risk management focus.
