COMMERCIAL ORGANIZATION

The Global Commercial Organization guides the global commercial success of EA around the world through:

• Responsible for revenue: We develop and execute plans to deliver revenue targets across the business and ensure they adapt to market changes.
• Commercial operators: We're operationally responsible for delivering our games and millions of assets to many partners throughout the world.

Industry/competitive insights: We are responsible for bringing commercial insights to the strategic, long range and operational planning process across EA

• Commercial Partnerships: We are the global commercial organization that manages all of our commercial partnerships, including physical, digital, platform and brand.
• Commercial focus on our markets: We're accountable for ensuring we understand our markets, including local player understanding, competitive activities, as well as business model and distribution dynamics

JOB DESCRIPTION

Main Purpose of the Role

Reporting to the Commercial Intelligence Director, the Commercial Intelligence Manager will work on EA Games Franchises to create recommendations and support decision making surrounding development and execution of key titles in all lifecycle stages. In addition, the Commercial Intelligence Manager with lead and support industry analysis and reporting for various purposes, and will vet and maintain data to support the analysis

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and support commercial recommendations for games all stages of product lifecycle
• Execute industry analysis to support strategic planning at the corporate and studio level, planning for commercial and finance, and inform executives and key teams on various topics
• Lead/execute topic/title deep dives
• Data vetting/maintenance, upgrades

Skills required

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA /MS
• Strong communication skills - Ability to communicate complex subjects to a broad audience
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience in gathering insights from disparate sources and combining them into compelling business cases and strategic goals
• Willing to learn and master additional coding languages (SQL, Python or R)
