Commercial Contracts Paralegal

Position Summary

Reporting into the Associate General Counsel EMEA, the successful candidate will play an integral role in the London office legal team and will be involved in a variety of commercial matters.

Primary Responsibilities

Assist the Associate General Counsel in supporting the business in EMEA, including:

• Providing legal and business affairs support to the London office licensing team in EMEA;
• Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements including merchandise licensing agreements; master services agreements; letters of amendment; non-disclosure agreements;
• Legal research;
• Coordinating with a variety of stakeholders across the business.

Knowledge & Skills & Experience

• Law degree or equivalent qualification;
• Knowledge of intellectual property and licensing;
• Experience in a law firm and/or in-house;
• Excellent drafting skills with experience reviewing commercial contracts;
• Excellent written and oral communication skills;
• Ability to work both independently and within a close team in a busy environment;
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Understanding of a global entertainment company (desirable);
• Positive attitude and a team player.
