Position Summary
Reporting into the Associate General Counsel EMEA, the successful candidate will play an integral role in the London office legal team and will be involved in a variety of commercial matters.
Primary Responsibilities
Assist the Associate General Counsel in supporting the business in EMEA, including:
- Providing legal and business affairs support to the London office licensing team in EMEA;
- Reviewing, drafting and negotiating a variety of agreements including merchandise licensing agreements; master services agreements; letters of amendment; non-disclosure agreements;
- Legal research;
- Coordinating with a variety of stakeholders across the business.
Knowledge & Skills & Experience
- Law degree or equivalent qualification;
- Knowledge of intellectual property and licensing;
- Experience in a law firm and/or in-house;
- Excellent drafting skills with experience reviewing commercial contracts;
- Excellent written and oral communication skills;
- Ability to work both independently and within a close team in a busy environment;
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills;
- Strong attention to detail;
- Understanding of a global entertainment company (desirable);
- Positive attitude and a team player.
