Brass Lion Entertainment is seeking a Cloud Systems Administrator to join a talented and diverse team currently working on a new , unannounced A ction - RPG title .
The right candidate for this role will build and maintain cloud infrastructure and other SaaS solutions that supports our development teams, facilitates employee efficiency, and help create standards; processes; and automation to improve the security of the studio. In addition to your infrastructure commitments, you will support a fully remote workforce and endeavor to streamline a fully remote onboarding process. Brass Lion Entertainment has employees based in New York City, Montréal, and remote locations across Canada and the United States.
Responsibilities
- Strive to build fully automated, self-healing infrastructure
- Help define, implement, and enforce security standards
- Cultivate a security first mindset within the organization
- Implement and maintain systems monitoring solutions
- Maintain and tune a highly available Perforce instance
- Administer SaaS solutions that help our teams collaborate (IDP, file server, documentation platforms, email, etc)
- Implement and maintain disaster recovery solutions and automation
- Author and maintain operational and design documentation
- End user support for a fully remote workforce (Windows and Mac)
- Participate in on-call rotation
Qualifications
- 3 or more years of experience working with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- 3 or more years administering and automating distributed systems (Windows or Linux)
- 2 or more years administering a highly available Perforce instance
- 2 or more years supporting end users
- Proficiency in one of the following languages: Bash, PowerShell, or Python
- Clear understanding of networking concepts
- Ability to effectively threat model systems
- Experience hardening systems (Windows or Linux)
- Located and authorized for work in the US or Canada
Bonus Points
- Experience designing and implementing distributed systems in AWS
- Experience with SSO setup and administration
- Experience with administering Azure Active Directory
- Experience hardening cloud infrastructure
- Experience building with Terraform
- Experience implementing co-development solutions
- Experience implementing or maintaining IPS/IDS solutions
- Understanding of container and container orchestrator basics
- Experience supporting end users in a fully remote environment
