Job Description
As a member of the Enterprise Governance team, you will be joining Ubisoft IT as a Cloud Administrator. With your in-depth knowledge of the cloud, you will create, deploy, and scale our hybrid cloud infrastructure (public and private) running scalable, resilient, and highly available microservices. Furthermore, you will be able to create and improve Gitlab CI/CD pipelines for our development teams. Working as a part of this team means using lots of technologies, automation, and cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Work with DevOps best practices and implement CI/CD pipelines to design, and build systems that are scalable, secure, and efficient;
- Monitor system and identify patterns that affect the performance, reliability, or availability of a product or service and drive them out of the system through automation or other technical innovation;
- Participate in the definition of standards, guidelines, best practices, and metrics;
- Implement automation of recurrent tasks through scripting languages
- Maintain documentation regarding configurations and operations procedures;
- Participate in post-mortem and root cause analysis;
- Participate in the evaluation of new requirements; technical designs, the definition of standards, guidelines, best practices, and metrics;
- Troubleshoot incidents;
- Answer user queries and service requests.
*Be available for on-call rotations approx. every 1 week out of 5-6
Qualifications
- Experience in Linux operating systems such as Centos/Rocky, Debian/Ubuntu, Amazon Linux, and Red Hat;
- Experience with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, and Go;
- Experience in DevOps philosophy: CI/CD pipelines, GitLab/Jenkins, Octopus Deploy;
- Experience in automation, orchestration, and infrastructure as code with tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes;
- Proficient with Amazon Web Services including EKS, RDS, SNS&SQS, ElastiCache, and CloudFormation, among others;
- Knowledge of ELK stack (Elasticsearch/Logstash/Kibana) and other monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and Datadog.
