As a Cinematics Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the quality and stability of the cinematic tools and pipelines. You’ll be embedded within the cinematics team, working alongside the already established wider QA, tech and code teams. You’ll be the main technical point of contact within the team, liaising and problem-solving issues, to ensure cinematic process and pipeline stability is maintained daily.

We are looking for someone who is comfortable reproducing technical issues and liaising directly with development teams to solve problems. You’ll be expected to work independently and methodically to solve issues and enable the cinematics artists to work without issue.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for Total War with previous experience working in a development environment, is familiar with the development process and has an interest in all aspects of the cinematic process (animation, rendering and 3d art etc).

Key Responsibilities

The primary function of the role is to ensure stability and quality of the cinematic workflows, whilst reproducing and problem solving any issues that may arise day to day. You’ll be working with our bespoke cinematic tools pipeline developed in-house, finding and prioritising issues in collaboration with artists and the wider tech and code teams.

You’ll be expected to contribute to the design and development of the tools, working closely with the tools programmers to test new features and ensure that they’re working as designed.

Working within the cinematics department, you’ll help us produce the highest quality trailers and cutscenes.
