About the position:
We are looking for a passionate with an eye on framing and motion and a heart on storytelling. If you are an experienced cinematographer who is looking for an opportunity to be a part of our Cinematic team us your CV and portfolio!
Responsibilities:
- Creating layouts for in-game cutscenes and dialogues
- Creating layouts for in-game cutscenes and dialogues
- Close collaboration with cinematic director and story team
- Working on storyboards and stillomatics
- Collaborate with graphic artists, level designers and gameplay programmers
- Assembling and editing cutscenes in engine
- Be able to identify and resolve technical issues and bugs
In case of seniors:
- Share their knowledge and mentor other team members
- Work with the tool and engine teams in order to improve the game design workflow
Requirements:
- Understanding of film language, cinematography basics, staging, animation timing
- Demonstrating strong composition feel, action continuity and camera framing choices
- Layout, editing and camera animation skills
- Knowledge of photography tools: lenses, cropping etc.
- Basic understanding of level design and game mechanics
- Basic knowledge of UE4 (sequencer)
- Ability to write clear and concise documentation
- Able to communicate fluently in English
- at least 1 shipped title or 2 years experience in post-production
in case of Seniors:
- At least 2 shipped titles or 5 years experience in post-production / game development
Pluses:
- Previous experience with game cutscenes creation workflow
- Experience in CG post-production, cinematics, advertising, film production
- Character animation skills, understanding of motion capture technology
- Experience with software such as Motion Builder, 3ds Max, Maya, Adobe Premiere, After effects
- Technical knowledge of UE4
- Previous experience in level lighting in UE4
