Gasket Games is growing and we are looking for a Character Artist to join our Character Art team. You bring your depth of experience in creating high quality character art. If you’re looking for a fantastic, fun and talented team and an interesting project, this is the role for you.
What will you do?
- Create high quality 3D characters models and textures with up to date content creation packages such as ZBrush, Maya, and Substance Painter
- Be able to interpret 2D concept art into a 3D model.
- Work with mesh flows to optimize for performance and animation constraints
- Collaborate with the Art Director, other Character Artists, Riggers, and Producers, to create high quality character art.
- Receive feedback from the Art Director and Lead Character Artist and reiterate as necessary.
Who are you?
- Experience working on high quality Character Art in the games or animation industry.
- Experience working in a game engine such as Unreal, Unity, etc.
- Experience with 3D modeling/sculpting techniques.
- Proficient in Maya or Max, Z-Brush and Substance Painter.
- Comfortable in multiple styles from realistic to stylized.
- Strong understanding of human anatomy, clothing, textures, etc.
