Create impressive and realistic-looking characters for our newly announced Project 007
IO Interactive is currently looking for a full-time Character Artists to join Project 007, a brand new James Bond video game to be developed and published by IOI.

Featuring a wholly original Bond story, players will step into the shoes of the world's favourite Secret Agent to earn their 00 status in the very first James Bond origin story.

As an integral part of the team, you will collaborate with directors, leads and other team members to achieve the creative vision of the project at the highest level of design. You will be involved in the initial design of graphics and technical considerations of implementation. Your goal is to continuously set new levels for character graphics in our 007 game, and together with the team push to the highest standard of the industry.

What you will do

· Collaborate cross-discipline in the creation of outstanding in-game characters

· Own parts of the pipeline such as shading, texturing, modelling, cloth simulation or in-game setup

· Mentoring other team members, creatively and technically

· Taking initiative for setting new benchmarks for character quality

· Work closely with technical animators using a mix of third party and proprietary tools; setting up character art for optimal execution and display in our in-house game engine

· Add the final touch and polish to already existing assets

· Support your lead and producer in the overall planning of the character art production

· Deliver content on schedule and within technical limitations

Who you are:

· You are a character artist with experience of working on at least two AAA titles in multiple stages of production

· Able to create impressive and realistic-looking game characters

· In-depth knowledge of 3D modelling softwares like Maya, 3Ds Max and ZBrush

· Experience with Marvelous Designer

· Experience with texturing tools such as substance painter and designer

· Have excellent collaborative skills

· Have good understanding and knowledge of the technical constraints of the extended character pipeline; from design and concept art, to rigging and animation

· Strong understanding of anatomy and color

· Understanding of the details in character-making and subtle storytelling

We would love it if you had:

· A background within fine art

· Experience with animation

· Hands-on skinning knowledge

· Experience with outsourcing workflows or cross-site experience
