We are looking for an exceptional Art Director to provide creative and organizational leadership for N3TWORK’s first party titles.
Responsibilities
- Create characters that appropriately complement and enhance the game design set by the producer incorporating marketability, demographics, and target audience
- Work with designers and other artists to define an end-to-end content pipeline
- Art direct character art vendors to deliver the characters within the specific theme and style from the concept to the final
- Design and prepare an art brief for all character art; writeup, brief descriptors, references, and sketches
- Provide both written and verbal art direction to in-house artists and external vendors to maintain and improve art quality bar
- Create character art and provide hands-on art support when needed
- Work with designers to define the theme and to schedule each event characters.
- Monitor and improve character pipeline from the planning to final-end pipeline
- Lead character art pipeline
- Work within LiveOps schedule
- Mentor in-house artists
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in the game industry
- 3+ years of experience as an art director
- Proven track record of working with mobile free-to-play games
- Understands game production design process and methodology.
- Extensive portfolio displaying mastery of color, composition, form and design within various mediums, with an eye for detail for character concept and illustration
- Extensive knowledge of Photoshop
- Ability to lead a lead a team
- Ability to motivate others and maintain a positive professional attitude
- Superior communication skills
