Capture Support - FPS Video Game (Burnaby, BC)

Working hours: Monday to Friday 10:00am – 2:00pm PST (4 hours per day, minimum of 2, up to 6hrs),
This is a temporary contract starting ASAP, continuing until Autumn/Winter 2023

Requirements

We are looking for people who are passionate about First Person Shooter games and creating awesome content. As a member of the Capture Support team, you will be responsible for supporting capture specialists in creating, capturing, and editing FPS gameplay moments. These visuals are used as marketing and promotional content for social media and/or competitive gaming events.

Core Duties

• Play the game and save gameplay moments as requested by the Capture team
• Provide Qualitative feedback regarding the product

Must Haves

• Passion for gaming, gaming industry, and esports
• Excellent skills in FPS and/or Battle Royale style games - COD, Destiny, Overwatch, Apex, Battlefield, Warzone, Fortnite etc.
• Ability to work/play on your own gaming PC set up with fast internet
• Ability to work well with a team and communicate effectively
• Professional, proactive, and present in your work
• Stamina for long gaming session with a team, as some shots may take a whole work day to capture
• Fast, stable internet connection & PC

Bonuses:

• Skills, experience or education in gaming industry
• Previous QA/QV or game testing experience
• An eye for cinematography, film, photography

This is a contract role, with the possibility of extension or future rehire based on seasonal project needs and performance.

Salary: $19/hr
