ROLE OVERVIEW:

Green Man Gaming is seeking a talented digital marketing executive to execute and help shape our customer retention strategy, taking a key role in building and shaping external communications to a diverse, engaged global user-base of gamers.

An adaptable and creative operator with understanding of digital marketing best practices, you will support our CRM Team in delivering a best-in-class programme to achieve that goal.

Responsible for helping to drive revenue and engagement via our retention focused marketing channels such as email, we're looking for a natural communicator with a confident approach; comfortable writing copy, proposing look and feel and reviewing briefs and data. You’ll collaborate with teams across the business from trading to design. You'll be trained across various 3rd party and bespoke tools to execute and manage campaigns.

In coordination with multiple departments, you’ll generate creative, relevant, targeted and engaging communications which ensure users keep coming back to Green Man Gaming. As an instrumental part of the team, you'll have the freedom to propose your own ideas and make your own mark in the gaming industry.

Requirements

KEY DELIVERABLES:

● Build and execute CRM campaigns across multiple channels

● Review and analyse campaign performance

● Conduct split tests and suggest new ideas to test regularly

● Maintain planning tools and calendars across CRM

● Write copy including for subject lines, contests, promotions & more

● Review and recommend tools and best practices to evolve and improve the CRM programme.

● Work with our BI team to brief and procure customer segments, personalisation aspects and other key data

● Work with our graphic design team to brief and procure relevant assets supporting campaigns

● Report into the CRM Manager & Loyalty Manager as part of the wider marketing team

● Support stakeholders across the business from publishing to customer support with CRM & Loyalty related tasks

YOU HAVE:

● Creative energy and the passion to propose your own ideas

● An adaptable can-do nature willing to learn & test

● Confidence in your ability to manage campaigns and deadlines, delivering always on-time and on-specification. Not phased by last minute requests.

● An eye for small details and sense of personal responsibility

● Graduate or 1-2 years of relevant digital marketing experience in a CRM or campaign based role

● Experience of using Google analytics or Looker to monitor campaign success

● (Desirable) Experience in the gaming industry or a personal passion for games
