Carry1st is the leading publisher of social games and interactive content in Africa. We work with studios across the globe - from Addis Ababa to Sofia to New York City - to level up their games and scale in dynamic, frontier markets. In addition to our full-stack publishing service, we’ve built a proprietary payments and ecommerce experience which allows customers to pay for digital content, even when they don’t have a credit card.
As CRM Manager you’ll be responsible for a central part of our ambitious growth strategy for the Carry1st Shop: building an omni-channel CRM strategy from the ground up. Reporting to the Head of Growth, Platform (and working closely with the Product team), you’ll become the subject matter expert for this function, and own the day-to-day execution of campaign management and optimization for success.Requirements
You will...
- Understand and optimize the customer journey, from acquisition to retention and expansion, for the Carry1st Shop through email, SMS, web pushes, and more.
- Collaborate with Growth, Product, and Creative teams to build, measure, and personalize omni-channel touch points that encourage customer engagement
- Take ownership of the company’s CRM tool, guiding strategy across Product and Growth
- Architect and execute A/B tests in content campaigns and automated workflows
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to ensure content accuracy, timeliness of deployments, deliverability, browser/device/email client configurations, and more to identify issues
- Analyze program performance metrics on aggregate, campaign, and segmentation levels
- Develop robust campaign documentation, including specific workflow instructions and journey maps
What makes you a great candidate?
- 3-5 years of experience managing an omni-channel CRM program, preferably in a fast-growing ecommerce startup environment
- Experience managing a CRM platform like MoEngage, Customer IO, Braze, Clevertap, etc.
- Previous experience in site analytics, customer pathing, email & SMS marketing, as well as familiarity with database marketing, customer segmentation and customer lifecycle management
- Experience implementing new CRM systems from the ground up
- Hyper-organized and systems-minded with a passion for building out new processes and documentation
- Strong analytical skills; ability to translate data into actionable strategies
