C#. Net Programmer - Game Services

We are looking for a talented C# developer with the .NET framework. This role is based in our Cheshire studio as part of the Core Tech team. The Core Tech team is made up of a diverse group of developers specialising in areas such as graphics, audio, UI, build automation and online services. As a Game Service Developer you will…
- Develop game services / API’s and supporting applications.
- Collaborate with various disciplines across the studio to share knowledge and identify requirements.
- Research, design and document solutions that satisfy the projects requirements and constraints.
- Develop, maintain and improve high quality solutions utilising design patterns / principals and best practices to increase code maintainability, flexibility, reliability and scalability.
- Develop, maintain and improve continuous delivery pipelines to increase release confidence.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Contribute to team effectiveness by actively participating in debates, meetings and knowledge sharing.
- Proven post University commercial work experience.
- Demonstrable experience writing clean, well engineered C# and JavaScript code.
- Demonstrable experience working with the .NET / .NET Core, ASP.NET, MVC frameworks.
- Experience working as part of a team in an Agile development environment.
- Experience working with source control systems such as GIT when part of a team.
- Appreciation for software craftsmanship, architecture and design patterns for writing flexible, robust and testable code.
- Understanding of common security concerns associated with Web development.
- Understanding of Web standards, protocols and terminology.
- Database design and development experience with SQL and/or NoSQL technologies.
Ideal Requirements
- Cloud / distributed / high availability systems development experience (particularly Azure)
- Familiar with continuous integration and deployment pipelines. (particularly Azure Dev Ops)
- Proven experience in the Games Industry.
- Passion for gaming.
